About Me
"Yesterday was history,
Tomorrow is yet a mystery,
But this day is a gift,
For it is the present"

Am just your loyal companion friend at your side.
Ears used for listening to others and hearing sweet tunes of life.
Paws too wander a path familiar and ones waiting to be traveled.
Also, to just give those in need a warm paw hugs to lift them.
Eyes so keen to beauty of surroundings. Wonderful places to cherish.
Tongue to woof to speak a few words hi, hello, or to lick kizzez on those close.
Nose to breath in essence of all scents from flowers, food, those friendly and not.
Tail always there to wave to others and greet with joy.

I'm a mog. Half man, half dog. I'm my own best friend.
-John Candy

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

Did you ever walk into a room and forget why you walked in? I think that's how dogs spend their lives.
-Sue Murphy

In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.
-Edward Hoagland "Dogs and the Tug of Life"

“I love dogs. They live in the moment and don't care about anything except affection and food. They're loyal and happy. Humans are just too damn complicated.”

“Anxiety is part of creativity, the need to get something out, the need to be rid of something or to get in touch with something within.”
-David Duchovny

“The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too.”
-Samuel Butler

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one”
-C.S. Lewis

"We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare.
And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made."
-M. Acklam

“Those who wish to pet and baby wild animals "love" them. But those who respect their natures and wish to let them live normal lives, love them more.”
-Edwin Way Teale

The one absolute, unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world - the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or teacherous - is his dog. A man's dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he can be near his master's side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounter with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pawper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings and reputation falls to pieces he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens. If fortune drives the master forth an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him to guard against danger, to fight against his enemies. And when the last scene of all comes, and death takes the master in its embrace, and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by his grave side will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws, his eyes sad but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even to death.
-George Graham Vest

You are The Lovers

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse.

The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.

Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.
